As the summer break winds down, the energy at our regional innovation hubs remains at an all-time high. The STEMAIDE Vacation Program (SVP) has officially concluded its most successful run ever, graduating over 500 enthusiastic young learners from our intensive 4-week bootcamp.
Throughout the program, students engaged in rigorous, gamified modules covering foundational electronics, IoT integrations, and creative coding. The highlight of the season was the Grand Finale Showcase, where teams presented their Capstone projects to a panel of industry experts.
Ranging from automated smart-home lighting systems to programmable rover robots built entirely from scratch, the creativity on display was staggering. "Seeing an 8-year-old confidently explain the logic loop powering their obstacle-avoidance robot is exactly why we do this," noted Amara Okafor, Director of Education.
