Following a competitive and carefully curated selection process, STEMAIDE Africa is proud to announce that it has been selected as one of the 12 outstanding EdTech startups in Ghana to participate in the 2025 Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship, implemented in partnership with MEST Africa. For us, this is not just a significant milestone in our journey; it’s a powerful affirmation of our vision to bridge the STEM education gap in underserved communities and equip Africa’s youth with the skills they need to thrive in a digital future.
The official launch of the Fellowship’s second cohort took place on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra. The event brought together key players from Ghana’s education, technology, and innovation ecosystems.
Organized by MEST Africa in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, the EdTech Fellowship is a transformative three-year long acceleration program designed to support high-impact EdTech ventures across Africa with mentorship, funding, and specialized training in the science of learning.

Breaking Barriers with Inclusive EdTech: Our Ongoing Commitment
During the launch, one standout moment was the EdTech Mondays panel discussion on Breaking Barriers: EdTech’s Role in Creating Inclusive Classrooms for All. This powerful conversation brought together experts in education, technology, and special needs advocacy to explore how digital tools can make learning more accessible and inclusive for every student.

What’s Ahead?
Over the upcoming months, our company will receive mentorship support, expert-led training, and gain access to resources that will help us strengthen our business model and scale effectively. We will also be collaborating with other brilliant EdTech ventures who, like us, are passionate about making education more accessible, inclusive, and impactful.
